Hi Bob, yes I learnt the hard way with wd40, I have started to use brake cleaner now on the real mucky stuff. Get in there with a good brush and clean it by hand and then into the ultrasonic with the cleaning solution, it makes the clock solution last much longer as there is no large amount of dirt going in there.
