 __________   In order to expand its fleet and routes, PIA ordered its first batch of four Airbus A300B4 aircraft in 1979-80. The A300 fleet was expanded to 10 aircraft of which one crashed on approach to Kathmandu in Nepal in September 1992. Six shorter but longer range A310s were acquired in 1991 which coupled with the 747s formed the backbone of the carrier's medium and long haul routes. The A310s are flown on ETOPS ( Extended Range Twin Operations ) to North American routes such as Toronto and Chicago and to European routes such as Birmingham, Oslo, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Paris, Rome, Athens, Amsterdam etc. _____  FS2002/2004 PIA A300B4 Quaid Patch Founder of Pakistan, Father of the Nation Mohammad Ali Jinnah, known by the popular title of "Quaid-e-Azam",The Great Leader gathered the Muslims of the sub-continent on a single platform, irrespective of the sects, and by his untiring efforts he was able to liberate a free homeland ultimately.Unfortunately, after his demise, Pakistan didnt even find a single person who could have led them towards prosperity, and a better future.In order to pay homeage to the selfless services of the only true leader of Pakistan, This fictional repaint for SGA modeled PIA A300B4 in 1990's livery has been created.
