These aircraft will replace the aging 747-200s and A300s. The 777s will consist of the following variants. The 777-200ER, 777-200LR and the longer 777-300. The purchase of these aircraft will enable the airline to expand its routes to as far as Australasia, North America, Europe and particularly the Middle East. The first PIA 777-200ER Reg-AP-BGJ was delivered on the 31st of January 2004.
